DURF's ART, OUR music

This Saturday, November 3rd @ Modernisme Gallery, artist and friend, Nathan Durfee, will present "Celebrations of Stems & Clouds." He is talking about his work @ 5:30pm and the Opening Reception begins at 6pm lasting until 9pm. Nathan's work fills the gallery now and it looks really incredible! We {Leah Suárez on vocals, Gerald Gregory on keys, Nathan Koci on accordion & flugelhorn, David Linaburg on guitar and Nick Jenkins on drums) will be playing for the reception!

It will be nasty, in a really GREAT way! Nathan is responsible for the beautiful artwork and design for my upcoming CD Release, "Found Freedom." The CD has arrived and will be pre-released for those who are buying prints from the CD at Nathan's show. Otherwise, they will be released on Thursday, November 15 @ Theatre 99! Tickets on sale now!! Nathan has created four beautiful prints from the CD artwork and they are selling at the show in very limited editions of 10 each. I have included those images below. He also has his ink drawings, sketchbooks, other digital work and incredible oil on canvas for a wide range of prices, starting from $75. "Found Freedom I" - 2'x2' - $250 - This is from the cover album art!

"The Stairwell" - 11x17" - This is a combination and variation on the inside booklet artwork depicting the song "Rest In Peace."
"The Cast" - 11x17" - $150 - This is artwork combined from the inside booklet and the actual on-disc art. The man depicts the song "Beautiful Stranger," while the woman on the right depicts "Dangerous Dance." The bird and sunflower are the images on the actual disc.
